Cuticle Pusher
WARNING: Edges can be sharp and care should always be taken when in use.
Clean and disinfect all tools with the appropriate sterilising process prior to first use and in between uses.
HOW TO USE:
- Before using, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, and ensure the cuticle pusher is appropriately clean and sanitised.
- Soften your cuticles, this can be done by soaking your fingers in warm, soapy water for a few minutes, or applying cuticle oil to the nail beds.
- Holding the tool with flat rounded end facing down, gently and carefully push back the cuticles using slight pressure. Start from the base of the nail and work towards the tops, ensuring to be gently to avoid damaging the nail beds or causing any discomfort.
- If need be, using the opposite pointed end of the tool, gently scrape off any stuck or stubborn parts of dead cuticle attached to your nail.
- Finish with cuticle oil to promote healthy nail growth.
DO NOT trim any excess cuticle off unless you are appropriately trained or qualified. Doing so can cause irritation, infection and uneven nail growth.
In the event you accidentally cut your cuticle area;
- Clean the area immediately with mild soap and water to prevent infection.
- Apply an antiseptic solution to disinfect the wound and promote healing.
- Protect the wound by keeping the area covered with a clean bandage to prevent further contamination.
If the cut is deep or shows any signs of infection, seek medical attention as soon as possible.
